You Must Work with a Duke Energy Smart $aver Contractor
To qualify for these rebates, you must hire a certified Duke Energy Smart $aver Trade Ally. These contractors are approved to meet Duke Energy’s standards and can apply the rebate directly to your invoice. Who’s Eligible for Duke Energy Rebates?

- Air sealing must decrease home air leakage by 5% or more.
- Must insulate a minimum of 1,000 sq. ft. of conditioned living space (for example, a 2-story home with only 600 sq. ft. of attic insulation would not qualify).
- Your attic must currently have insulation rated R-19 or lower. As part of the rebate-eligible upgrade, this will be increased to a minimum of R-30.
